The Mypex Experiment - Birchfields Park Forest Garden event

Manchester Permaculture Network's April event is to take place at Birchfields Park Forest Garden.

Last year an experimental planting was undertaken in the south west corener of the forest garden, using mypex, to test its effectiveness at weed control, in the establishment of the forest garden's gound cover layers. On the evening of Weds 28th, we will be returning to the forest garden, to see how things have progressed.

Manchester Permaculture Network - Cider Brewing Workshop with Abundance

The next Manchester Permaculture event will next Monday (26th Oct), 6:30pm - 9:30pm, and it will be a cider making workshop! We've got a home brewer coming from near Manchester to talk a bit about cider brewing, and we are also going to juice some apples using a crusher and apple press.
