Permaculture Manchester . . . lets put some green on the urban scene

The third FeedingManchester event will take place on Saturday 13th February 2010 (changed from 6th February) to continue planning practical ways of making Greater Manchester's food system more sustainable.

This event will be focused on Manchester City Council's Climate Action Plan, its aspiration for sustainable food and how the third sector can help ‘double the amount of locally grown food we eat’ over the next ten years.

The aim of FeedingManchester #3 is to:

1. Share information about the Manchester’s Climate Action Plan & sustainable food targets.
2. Refine & adopt a suitable definition of Sustainable Food.
3. Explore partnerships and project ideas to help deliver MCC’s Action Plan.
4. Propose partnership projects to Manchester City Council via Food Futures.
5. Feed ideas into the North West Making Local Food Work’s Partnership.
6. Feed views and solutions into the Call to Real Action event on 20^th February 2010.
